We split the dough into two pizzas, and cooked them on a small coal grill. It took about 15 minutes on the first side, and 25 minutes on the second side to fully cook. They were perfectly delicious! The dough was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I made homemade pizza sauce with mushrooms in it, and that made the flavor great. We put fresh tomatoes, olives, pineapple, feta, basil, and mozzarella on our pizzas.

Super easy and yummy. My family was soooo impressed with this recipe. My dough didn't stick to the grill. I made sure that it was well oiled and I made little personal size pizzas. It works better that way since everyone has different preferences anyways. I also make extra dough and portion it into little dough balls and wrap them in plastic and store them in a ziploc bag in the freezer so I can take out a couple at a time.

Definitely five stars! We top ours with different sauces - pesto, roasted red pepper spread, traditional tomato pizza sauce - and set out a variety of toppings including marinated mushrooms, sauteed onions, fresh pepper strips, sliced olives, and a variety of cheeses. Great crowd pleaser!

This was a great recipe! I love pizza on the grill. Another approach is to put a pizza stone on the grill, this allows you to cook more traditional pizzas, not worry about breaking the dough, and still get that smoky flavor. I got my pizza stone from www.pizza-stone.com and it works great on the grill.

The toppings were cooked before putting them on the pizza because of the other reviews. It turned out great; the toppings were perfectly done. The crust was delicious!

Bad idea! Brushing the oil on the grill was dangerous, and my brush burnt. The dough burnt. The second pizza I sprayed pam on the grill, and that kept it so it did not burn. Flavor was good, but tooooo much work for the end result.

I love this crust but you have to be careful or it will burn quickly. I have a charcoal grill so I can't easily regulate the temp. Sometimes I will cook the crust on the grill and then finish melting the cheese in the broiler so the bottom doesn't burn.

We really liked this pizza. I need to get my technique down though. It was a little bit of work to get it all together and get the toppings on the pizza while on the grill.

This was really good... it was 40 above here today, and I needed a good bbq recipe. I kept my heat on low- cuz i was worried about burning- (but I also bought the pizza crusts- which I won't do again- I'm gonna make the dough next time.)I added some leftover cooked, chopped chicken breast. I cooked my red peppers on the grill first, then chopped them. I added chiffonaded (sp?)spinach for the heck of it. I took a picture of it on the grill, and one afterwards. ONE suggestion- use pizza sauce- this recipe says tomato sauce, but its too bland. I sprinkled greek seasoning on, as I was out of Italian to boost that. But real pizza sauce would be a good thing to have. I WILL BE making this agian a few times. Thanks for the recipe!!

Tried this recipe this past weekend and it was a big hit with my friends! In lieu of the the recipe's sauce, I just used my homemade sauce I keep on hand. In addtion to the cheese, I used fresh tomato and basil from the garden... Margherita pizza is my fav! By the way, when brushing the grill grates, I substituted canola oil because it has a higher smoke point. Brushed the garlic infused EVOO for flavor per the recipes recomendation... Yum!

I had a really hard time with this. The dough cooked and burned long before the cheese melted. For the 2nd pizza I cooked one side of the dough, put the sauce on that side and put the uncooked side down and the cheese still would not melt before the bottom started to burn. I finished them in the oven under the broiler. Not worth the effort.

I used store bought dough but followed the rest of the recipe. Be sure to spray the grill with oil- mine stuck a little , other then that it was pretty darn tasty. I'll be making this again :)

Mmmm, delicious for a summer evening. We subbed the olives and peppers for Italian sausage, and made extra sauce. I don't think my dough doubled in size either time, maybe my yeast is at fault. We rolled
