Seattle, November 6, 2007 — Reader’s Digest Association (RDA) and its online property Allrecipes.com, today announced the launch of the Food Advertising Network @ RDA, featuring the ground-breaking self-serve AdWizard@RDA display advertising service. This is the first network of its kind that will service the advertising needs of small to medium sized companies in the valuable online food category. The Food and Advertising Network @ RDA includes heavily trafficked food sites Allrecipes.com, TasteOfHome.com, RachaelRayMag.com and ChefsCatalog.com.

The creation of the Food Advertising Network @ RDA makes it easy for small to medium size consumer packaged goods companies to reach customers through a network of trusted food sites like Allrecipes.com, the world’s largest community of home cooks with more than 15 million annual visitors. The Food Advertising Network @ RDA will expand with the addition of other food related web sites while providing advertisers with the confidence of knowing their ads are running within appropriate content.

AdWizard@RDA is an easy-to-use, self-serve advertising service that allows companies to create display ads by selecting from ready-made templates or uploading their own creative. AdWizard allows advertisers to target ads geographically, an essential capability for regional brands to reach their target consumers. Additionally, the AdWizard service gives advertisers transparency regarding their media buy and it provides immediate results and daily reports so companies can analyze their campaigns and adjust them for better performance. The AdWizard@RDA platform is powered by AdReady, an innovative advertising technology company.

“Developing the online Food Advertising Network is yet another extension of our leadership position in establishing a trusted relationship with advertisers across all media platforms,” said Suzanne M. Grimes, President, Food and Entertaining, Reader’s Digest Association. “We want to provide a solution for small to medium sized companies that have been slower to adopt online advertising due to lack of creative resources, budget constraints and difficulty optimizing online display ads.”

“The Food Advertising Network @ RDA provides companies with easy-to-use tools that enable them to create targeted online display campaigns for maximum reach and results,” said Lisa Sharples, president of Allrecipes.com. “We are very pleased to offer advertisers a new solution to creatively reach out to a highly sought after community of active home-cooks like Allrecipes.com, where 57 percent of visitors shop at the grocery store within 48 hours of their site visit.”

“AdReady is excited to have Reader’s Digest Association and Allrecipes.com as our first online publisher partners,” said AdReady CEO Aaron Finn. “AdReady’s self-serve marketing platform will do for display advertising what other self-serve solutions have done for text search marketing in recent years. Offering AdReady’s capabilities through our partner program will extend the reach of the AdReady platform to an even broader range of advertisers and publishers.” For more information about the Food Advertising Network @ RDA or the AdWizard@RDA display advertising service, please visit: http://allrecipes.com/features/more/foodadvertisingnetwork.aspx.
